Norfolk Beat Suffolk 44-22 To Regain The Tri Counties Cup

In a physical game held at Bury St Edmunds RFC, Norfolk produced another outstanding performance to beat a determined Suffolk 44-22. A fairly even first half saw Norfolk lead 18-10 at the break.  A penalty try was awarded to Suffolk shortly into the second half, but from then on, Norfolk increased their intensity both in attack coupled with some crunching hits in defence.  Scrum dominance set a solid platform to enable the visitors to pull away to secure the win. A game once again played in great spirit and the best of luck to Suffolk in their wooden spoon decider against Cambridgeshire on the 26th March.
