Norfolk RFU Boys Under 17 Programme 2026
Registration for the county under 17 squad is now open.
This is your opportunity to represent your county.
You will work with the Norfolk Youth coaching team.
There are opportunities to join the Eastern Counties squad.
To qualify players must be in academic year 12 and NOT currently be part of any Prem Academy or Eastern Counties programme.
All players must provide a completed registration form before the assessment day.
The form must be endorsed by your club, coach or school and your parent/guardian.
Registration forms (which can be accessed via the link at the bottom of this page) must be fully completed and written or typed very clearly. Please include a passport type photo.
Registration forms must be submitted no later than Friday 17th April to the following email address.
The assessment evening to earn a place on the squad will be held at Lakenham RUFC (NR14 8DU) on Monday 20thApril. Please arrive at 6.30pm in the club house for a briefing followed by a training session 7pm to 8.30pm.
If selected for the squad you must be available for the following dates:
Monday 27th April training at Lakenham RUFC arrive from 6.30pm to start at 7pm.
Wednesday 29th April Thetford RUFC tri counties match (match day squad will be selected from the main squad).
Wednesday 6th May training at Lakenham RUFC arrive from 6.30pm to start at 7pm.
Wednesday 13th May training at Lakenham RUFC arrive from 6.30pm to start at 7pm.
Sunday 17th May Away match vs Suffolk venue TBC (match day squad will be selected).
Wednesday 20th May training at Lakenham RUFC arrive from 6.30pm to start at 7pm.
Sunday 24th May Home match vs Cambridgeshire venue TBC (match day squad will be selected).
